5th Grade Artwork
5th graders studied insects, which have three body sections (head, thorax, abdomen) and six legs. They created their own unique insects, using black glue and chalk pastels.
5th graders did this self portrait called “Falling for foreshortening.” Foreshortening is an optical illusion where as something if
farther away from you the smaller (or shorter) it looks. In this case, the hands and feet appear much larger than the rest of the body, because they are closer to the viewer.
